Samantha specializes in acupuncture and has a strong background in both Chinese and Japanese-style Acupuncture. This provides a broad set of options for those whom are comfortable with needles and those who are not.

Samantha works with a wide variety of patients from all backgrounds including athletes, children, seniors, and the general public. Samantha also specializes in helping patients who are suffering from injury, pain management, stress/anxiety, headaches, migraines, sleep disorders, depression, and promotes health digestion.

Samantha also has the gift for developing strong connections with children. With this gift, she is extremely successful when treating children who suffer from a wide range of things, such as ADHD, allergies, anxiety, and the common colds.

In 2008, Samantha graduated from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst, where she majored in Communication Disorders with a concentration in pre-med. While attending UMass, She experienced a severe accident where she was hospitalized with a herniated disc. While there, Samantha learned that she was not able to handle the pain medicine she was given due to stomach sensitivity. This made her think about her future in western medicine. She struggled with the fact that western medicine, although effective in many situations, wasn’t helping her.

After this experience, Samantha decided to take three years off before attending medical school and worked in a childcare preschool setting. During this time, Samantha maintained a strong desire to become a medical doctor.

In the Fall of 2010, Samantha awoke one morning after having a dream about acupuncture. That same morning Samantha began researching Acupuncture schools. As luck would have it, the first founded school of Acupuncture in the United States was located in Boston, the city where she currently lived. Samantha set up a tour of the school. During the tour, she knew this was her calling and immediately began the application process.

During the interview process Samantha was still suffering from severe back pain due to her previous injury. After the interview, Samantha visited the student clinic for her very first Acupuncture treatment, which offered her a remarkable reduction in pain. Right then, Samantha knew that her career would change to holistic medicine. Samantha continued to get treatments weekly for her back pain and after a few months the pain was nonexistent.

In the Summer of 2011, Samantha started at the New England School of Acupuncture, studying both Chinese and Japanese Acupuncture. Over the nearly four years in Acupuncture school, Samantha came to appreciate Japanese acupuncture and in the spring of 2014, Samantha traveled to Japan where she studied with three masters whose specialties consist of a non-insertive technique called Shakuju, Moxibustion, and scalp acupuncture. Samantha continues to believe Japanese acupuncture to be extremely powerful when using it with energy work and little to no needles.

In December of 2014, Samantha graduated at the top of her class from New England School of Acupuncture, which is currently ranked #3 in the U.S. and is the #1 school for Japanese acupuncture in the country. She received recognition and was awarded the Compassionate Healers Award upon graduation.

Samantha has nearly 10 years of clinical experience and has became one of the most requested acupuncturists in the clinic.

Samantha moved to Vermont several years ago and now practices in Morrisville, Vermont. She brings all of her experience to each and every patient with personalized treatments, to promote healing and overall wellness.
